HM the King Offers Condolences to Crown Prince of Kuwait over Passing of Emir of the State

His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, following the death of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State.

In this message, the Sovereign affirms that he has learned with great sadness and deep sorrow of the news of the death of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of brotherly Kuwait, may God surround him with His holy mercy.

In this painful circumstance, His Majesty the King expresses to His Highness the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, and through him to all the members of the illustrious princely family and to the brotherly Kuwaiti people, on His behalf and that of the Moroccan people, His deep condolences and sincere feelings of compassion in this painful ordeal, divine will being unstoppable, praying to the Almighty to grant them patience and comfort.

At this painful moment, the Sovereign says He remembers, with consideration, the qualities of the great leaders of the deceased, who spared no effort to serve the supreme interests of his country and of the Arab-Islamic Ummah, which has lost, following his passing, a distinguished personality known for his insight, foresight and wisdom.

His Majesty the King also says that He remembers, with respect, the deep affection and esteem that the late Emir had for the Kingdom of Morocco, and the firm determination he showed to strengthen the ties of solid brotherhood and active solidarity between the Moroccan and Kuwaiti peoples in good and bad times.

The Sovereign asks the Almighty to fully compensate the deceased for his good deeds in the service of his country and his nation and to accept him among the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous.

Expressing His sorrow at this cruel loss, His Majesty the King prays to God to preserve His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his illustrious princely family from all misfortune.
