ONU: Le Maroc élu à la Commission pour le Droit commercial international
Morocco was elected, on Tuesday, March 15, unanimously by the 193 UN member states, to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) for a six-year term (2022-2027), during elections held at the UN General Assembly in New York.

This election enshrines the Kingdom's efforts in diplomatic and legal forums, especially in the field of international trade law, which are part of the vision and various reforms undertaken by Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.

Morocco's election is a mark of confidence by the international community in the relevance of its action in strengthening the legal framework of international trade as a lever for sustainable development, as well as in the extent of the Kingdom's expertise in this field. It also highlights the credibility of Morocco's legislative reforms in the areas of international trade and investment, which make it one of the most open economies on the African continent.

This new election of Morocco confirms, once again, the credibility of its multilateral diplomacy and its active role in the UN's priority areas.
