Morocco, Chad Ink Six Cooperation Agreements
These cooperation agreements were signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, and his Chadian counterpart, Amine Abba Siddick, who is currently on a working visit to Morocco.
The first agreement abolishes visa requirement for holders of diplomatic, service and special passports of both countries.
The second agreement is a framework cooperation agreement which aims to establish the general framework of cooperation in the areas of agriculture and livestock.
The third framework cooperation agreement provides for developing the energy and mining sectors, through the exchange of experiences and expertise between the two parties.
The two parties also signed a cooperation agreement on training cooperation in the areas of information, communication and documentary information sciences.
They also signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the area of culture with a view to strengthening cultural exchanges by bringing together the cultural institutions of the two countries and encouraging them to establish cooperation agreements.
On the same occasion, Morocco and Chad signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the tourism sector which aims at strengthening experience and expertise exchange in this field.
The signing of these agreements reflects the intention of the two brotherly and friendly countries to further strengthen their cooperation, particularly in the economic and cultural areas, Amine Abba Siddick told the press following talks with his Moroccan counterpart.
