M.Bourita Stresses Exclusivity of UN Framework to Find Solution to Moroccan Sahara Issue

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, M.Nasser Bourita, reiterated, Sunday in Addis Ababa, the exclusivity of the United Nations as a framework for finding a solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue.

The position has been clear from the outset, namely that the issue of Moroccan Sahara is in the hands of the United Nations, which remains the sole framework for finding a solution to this conflict in accordance with international legality, M.Bourita said in a press statement after the opening session of the 33rd Summit of the African Union (AU).

The minister recalled, in this regard, that chairman of the AU Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, confirmed, during the opening session of this Summit, the exclusivity of the UN in the resolution of the question of the Moroccan Sahara.
