HM the King Appoints Aziz Akhannouch as Head of Government, Entrusts Him with Forming New Government
"The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announces that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, received on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Royal Palace in Fez, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, president of the "National Rally of Independents" party, whom the Sovereign has appointed as Head of Government, and entrusted him with the formation of the new government.
This appointment takes place in accordance with the constitutional provisions and on the basis of the results of the legislative elections of September 8, 2021".
