Rabat, (MoFA) - The Comorian Minister thanked His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, for his commitment to supporting and preserving the Moroccan-Comorian friendship, welcoming the "very special" relationship between the two countries.

Speaking at a joint press briefing with Mr. Bourita, he recalled Morocco's support for the Comoros in the area of   training, noting that 80 pc of the executives of his ministry have been trained in the Kingdom.  
Morocco continues to train Comorians by granting them scholarships, he said, recalling the Kingdom's support for his country in the area of   administration.

After the administration sector, the Union of the Comoros is counting on Morocco's support for economic construction, said Mr. Dhoulkamal, expressing his country's desire to benefit from the know-how and experience of Moroccans in the ambition of making the Comoros an emerging country by 2030.

He also indicated that Morocco's support is greatly requested by his country in the field of tourism, recalling that the Kingdom was represented by the largest delegation during the Comoros Development Partners Conference held in Paris.  
Morocco reacted quickly the day after this conference by sending a strong delegation to the Comoros to see promising sectors, he added, pleading for the establishment of a more dynamic bilateral cooperation framework.  

The Comorian top official also expressed the wish to develop win-win economic projects between the two countries, welcoming the African vision of His Majesty the King, May God Assist Him.  

For his part, Mr. Bourita said that the inauguration of this embassy reflects the shared ambition of the two Heads of State to establish a bilateral relationship marked by trust and excellence.

This inauguration confirms solid ties and a very fruitful cooperation, he said, assuring that the embassy will be a very important instrument for monitoring commitments between the two parties.  Morocco and the Union of the Comoros are two countries which are very close by heart, solidarity and cooperation, he said, noting that the dual presence of the Comoros in Rabat and Laâyoune, where it was the first country to open a consulate, will further strengthen these exceptional relations.

These representations are not just institutions, they are the reflection of a common ambition, underlined Mr. Bourita, noting that the excellent political relations find its extension on the human ground since one of the first student communities in Morocco is the Comorian one.  

He also recalled the signing of several bilateral cooperation agreements that will consolidate the partnership between the two countries, noting that the two parties have agreed to hold the joint committe in the near future and to send a multi-sectoral economic mission to support the projects of the Comorian president.

In accordance with the High Instructions of His Majesty the King, May God Assist Him, Morocco was present in Paris during the Comoros Development Partners Conference, he recalled, noting that the Moroccan delegation was the largest delegation representing the different sectors, institutions and economic operators.  In accordance with the High Royal Instructions, a special meeting was held with the Comorian President to identify areas of cooperation.

Morocco, in accordance with the Royal guidelines, will always be mobilized as it has done in the fields of training and administration, he assured, adding that it will do the same for the establishment of a diversified economy.
