The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mrs. Mbarka Bouaida, held talks on Wednesday 06 April 2016 in Rabat, with the Mauritanian Minister Delegate in Charge of Maghreb, African and Mauritanian Affairs abroad.
At the end of this meeting, Mrs.Bouaida indicated that Morocco and Mauritania are animated by a common desire to reinforce the existing strategic and historic relations between the two countries, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Mauritanian President, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.
Furthermore, she stated that this meeting is of great importance taking into consideration the strategic, historic and brotherly reach of the relations between Morocco and Mauritania, and that it was an opportunity to discuss all segments of bilateral cooperation in the security, political, economic, and cultural areas.
Mrs.Bouaida also noted that these talks were an opportunity to prepare the Moroccan-Mauritanian high-level joint commission meeting, scheduled in Morocco, and to exhcange points of view on a number of bilateral political, regional and international issues.
For her part, the Mauritanian Minister indicated that this visit to Morocco aims at reinforcing cooperation between the two countries and to strengthen the historic and brotherly bilateral relations.
