The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mrs. Mounia Boucetta, received on Tuesday, May 02, 2017 in Rabat, the Japanese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Shunsuke Takei, accompanied by representatives of the public and private sectors.
The meeting falls within the framework of the reinforcement of bilateral relations with the aim to promote trade and investment between Morocco and Japan.
In this regard, the Japanese official stressed that this visit is an opportunity for Japanese private and public operators to discover the business environment in Morocco in order to promote trade and investment between the two countries.
For her part, Mrs. Boucetta welcomed the quality of the Moroccan-Japanese relations, strengthened in recent years in several areas, notably international cooperation, social dimension, exchange of experiences and training.
She highlighted the main strengths and opportunities offered by the business environment in Morocco, the result of a continuous process of democratic, legal and social reforms.
