The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mrs. Mbarka Bouaida held, on Wednesday October 14th 2015 in Rabat, talks with the Vice-President of the Ethnic Affairs Commission, Mr. Ashat Kerimbay, on a visit to the Kingdom at the head of a delegation of the People’s National Assembly of the People’s Republic of China.
At this occasion, Mrs.Bouaida shed light on the excellence of the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, marked by trust and mutual respect, which will be further strengthened by the future conclusion of the multifaceted Strategic Partnership Agreement. She furthermore underlined the dynamic of cooperation and exchange that characterizes these relations, a proof of the common will to continue in reinforcing these relations.
The Minister Delegate also insisted on the important reforms accomplished by the Kingdom, under the High Guidance of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, which enabled to establish a decentralization that evolved into advanced regionalization, a regionalization legitimized by the strong popular adherence manifested in these last elections, particularly in our Southern Provinces. She stated that similarly to the Chinese experience, the Moroccan Initiative for Autonomy constitutes an appropriate solution in order to resolve the artificial dispute of the Moroccan Sahara.
For his part, the High Chinese official underlined that this visit reinforced and developed the bilateral relations on the economic, financial, and cultural level, evoking the particular interest that China places in the strengthening of the ties of friendship and cooperation with Morocco.
