The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Nasser Bourita, held talks on Thursday 15 June 2017 in Rabat, with his Swazi counterpart, Mr. Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze.
On this occasion, Mr. Mgwagwa Gamedze reiterated his country's support to Morocco on the Sahara issue, praising the "brotherly" and “historical” relations between the two countries.
In the same line, the Swazi Foreign Minister stated that the position of Swaziland has been and will remain very clear on the question of the Sahara, stressing his country’s full support for Morocco.
The Swaziland Minister also hailed the excellent “brotherly and historical” relations between the two kingdoms, which share the same values and the same attachment to the continent.
In this regard, he expressed his firm determination to further strengthen the long-standing cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields.
The head of Swaziland diplomacy also praised Morocco's return to the African Union (AU), pointing out that “Morocco can bring much to the African Union and the continent as a whole” and it is a key partner for the success of the many initiatives initiated in Africa.
