The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mrs. Mbarka Bouaida, held talks, on Thursday, March 31st 2016 in Rabat, with the Tanzanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Augustino Philip Mahiga.
On this occasion, Mrs. Bouaida stated that the visit of Mr. Mahiga falls within the framework of the common will of the two countries to reinforce their political, economic, social and diplomatic relations, highlighting that this meeting was an opportunity to present to the Tanzanian Minister the different reforms undertaken by Morocco, as well as the latest developments of the national cause.
In this regard, the Minister Delegate shed light on the projects launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, within the framework of a new development model of the Southern Provinces and the implementation of advanced regionalization.
Furthermore, she underlined that a roadmap will be put in place in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, Mr. Mahiga expressed the wish of his country to develop a fruitful and productive relationship with Morocco in several areas, affirming that through the reinforcement and widening of bilateral cooperation, the two countries will be able to benefit from the offered opportunities of cooperation in Morocco in Tanzania.
Mr. Mahiga added that this visit, the first to Morocco as Minister of Foreign Affairs of his country, will open the path for the reinforcement of the ties bringing together the two countries.
