Overview of the Moroccan Diplomatic Club

The Moroccan Diplomatic Club is a non-governmental institution, whose membership is open to Ambassadors Directors, Ambassadors and Ministers Plenipotentiary, who are either still serving, or retired.

Created on November 9 1991 in Rabat, the Club puts the skills and the know-how of its members at the service of the promotion of the Nation’s Diplomacy.

By virtue of its constitutional status, the Club consists of a General Assembly and a bureau that comprises nine members who are elected for a three-year term.

Enhancing the country’s international identity through mobilizing the expertise of the Club’s members, and the establishment of cooperation and exchanges relationships with similar institutions as well as diplomatic representatives accredited in Morocco, are among the Diplomatic Club’s objectives.

The Moroccan Diplomatic Club organizes conferences and seminars which are attended by eminent personalities from the world of politics and diplomacy, at the national and international levels, and regularly publishes reviews, studies and analyses prepared by members and friends of the Club.
