In a press declaration, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade and Energy of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Vince Henderson, highly commended the vision of HM the King Mohammed VI for promoting South-South cooperation.

"I would like to express the great appreciation of the Commonwealth of Dominica for the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for a South-South cooperation, based on effectiveness, solidarity and pragmatism”, Mr. Henderson pointed out.

He also underlined that the Commonwealth of Dominica has enormously benefited from its cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco in this context.

"Over the years, and thanks to the reinforced diplomatic relations between the two countries, we have benefited from the development of human resources, scholarships for Dominican students in Morocco and technical assistance in agriculture, among others,” he pointed out.

Regarding the Moroccan Sahara issue, Henderson reaffirmed the Commonwealth of Dominica’s continued support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over its entire territory, including the Moroccan Sahara, reiterating his country's support for the autonomy initiative presented by the Kingdom in 2007.
