MFA Nasser Bourita holds talks with his Slovenian counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, held talks on September 7th, 2022, in Cairo, with Slovenia's Foreign Minister, Ms. Tanja Fajon, on the sidelines of the 158th ordinary session of the Arab League Council at the level of Foreign Ministers.

Slovenia's Foreign Minister, Ms. Tanja Fajon, said on September 7th, 2022, that Morocco plays an important role in the relations of Slovenia and the European Union with the southern shore of the Mediterranean.

Ms. Fajon wrote on her Twitter account, following her talks in Cairo with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, that "Morocco plays an important role in Slovenia's and EU's relations with the southern Mediterranean, and wider African continent".

She added: "We're also like-minded partners in the UfM Secretariat".
