Mr. Nasser Bourita: Meeting with Mr.Khaled Meshri was an opportunity to Reiterate Morocco's Constant Position, Under the Leadership of His Majesty King, Regarding the Libyan Crisis
Rabat, (MoFA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, asserted, on Friday in Rabat, that the meeting he had with the Chairman of the High Council of State of Libya, Mr. Khaled Meshri, was an opportunity to reiterate Morocco's constant position, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, May God Assist Him, regarding the Libyan Crisis.

"This meeting was an opportunity to reiterate the Kingdom's unwavering position, as specified by His Majesty the King", noted Mr. Bourita during a joint press briefing with Mr. Khaled Meshri, recalling that " it is a position motivated by a strong conviction that Libyans themselves and inter-Libyan dialogue is of paramount importance above all."

Morocco insisted the Minister, strongly believes that the Libyans are able to find a solution and that foreign interventions cannot, in contrast, contribute to solving the crisis".

"The multiplication of initiatives leads to scattering efforts without really creating a conflict-solving dynamic", stressed Mr. Bourita.

It is worth recalling that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad had met, on March, 6th, in Rabat, with the Emissary of the Speaker of the Libyan parliament, Mr. Abdelhadi Lahouij.
