Morocco, EU Discuss Means to Strengthen Bilateral Partnership
Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held a meeting, Wednesday in Brussels, with Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the development of relations between Morocco and the European Union as well as regional and international issues.

For Bourita, "it is a question of making contact with the new European leaders in order to build on a very positive dynamic launched a year ago with the European Union".

"Morocco and the European Union are called upon to strengthen their partnership in order to face common challenges," the minister told MAP, adding that "the Kingdom has an ambition for more serene, substantial and better structured relations with the EU, ties of equals in which the two parties defend together the foundations, parameters and objectives of their partnership".
