The Moroccan delegation taking part in this visit, organized by the British Council and the British Embassy in Morocco, with the aim of boosting strategic partnerships between the Moroccan and British education sectors, is composed of Minister Delegate for Higher Education and Scientific Research Driss Ouaouicha, four university presidents and four senior officials from the Ministry of National Education, and accompanied by director of the British Council to Morocco Tony Reilly and Education Advisor of the Department of International Development (DFID)- Maghreb Kate Thomson.

According to a joint statement from the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, the British Council and the British Embassy in Morocco, Amzazi will take part, on Monday in London, in the Education World Forum during which he will be the first Minister of Education from the Maghreb to speak and share the roadmap of the Education sector in Morocco, during a debate on the long-term solutions to combat poor learning. This large annual gathering of ministers of education, held this year under the theme "One generation – what does it take to transform education?", is attended by leaders of International organizations, including UNESCO, the World Bank, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the British Council, and over 124 ministers of education from around the world, the statement said.
